The Haunted Castle of Muskogee is famous for its Halloween fun for all ages, but like most fairs and festivals, there is also a lot of tasty food & drinks to be had.

The Castle, which triples as as a Rennaisance festival in May, the Haunted Castle at Halloween, and a Christmas village during the holidays, always has a lot of sites, activities, and food to offer.

Between taking a walk through the haunted maze and visiting the torture chamber (both a bit scary but still kid-friendly), we enjoyed those foods that you can sometimes only get at festivals like this one, foods like funnel cakes, fried pickles, soft pretzels, and giant turkey legs.

I also tried out some of the delicious wines from Vinita’s Summerside Vineyards & Winery.  They had everything from very dry wines to very sweet ones, and while I’m usually a fan of dry red wines, their tres sweet blackberry was heavenly!  It’s pure blackberry, no grapes added, and it’s simply amazing.  Have a look at all of the festive medieval-style buildings, fun, and food to be had!
