The Right Wings
Throughout Tulsa, the name of one wing establishment is passed from person to person as the place to get the best wings in town – The Right Wings. The facade of this restaurant is nothing special, but what lies inside is a hidden treasure among the Tulsa wing scene. The only flavors offered are: Garlic, Mild, Medium, and Nitro, but the amount of taste lying within each flavor is explosive. The Right Wing is so right it couldn’t be wrong…. so pass it on.
Garlic Wings
This visit I ordered Garlic, Medium, and Nitro to go. The Garlic wing was drenched in a tasty garlic sauce and the wing had a nice crunch to it. The medium wasn’t all that spicy, but had a great buffalo taste. The Nitro was really something special, soaked in the their signature Nitro sauce dripping with spicyness and flavor. Where others fail to offer taste with their spiciest sauce, The Right Wing brings it all on. The buffalo flavor makes the wing a pleasant experience, not just some really spicy food you need to conquer.
Medium Wings & Nitro Wings
The wings are served up with a bag of veggies (celery and carrots) and ranch or bleu cheese. I believe their bleu cheese is homemade and is excellent. It really counterbalances the spiciness of their Nitro wings.
This no frills eatery must be doing something right, as they have been serving up their wonderful take on hot wings for over two decades. I always order mine to go, but I can imagine it is a fantastic place to watch an OU football game, shoot some pool, knock down a couple ice cold beers, and order up a party pack of wings for you and your friends. There are a lot of wing restaurants in the Tulsa area, but I would hope that if you are looking for an authentic buffalo wing experience, you will head on down to The Right Wing.
